dc.description.abstract This study examines the economic justification made by the Palestinians to justify their stance of refusing to transfer land to the Jews in the period between (1918-1936). Palestinians linked between the transfer of the land to Jews, and the existence of a Zionist project (political and economic) that seeks to control the region and its economies . They associated the Jews control of the land and their political with economic power in one hand, and between the Jewish control of the land and the weakness of Palestinian politically and economically on the other hand. They justified their stance of refusing to transfer land to the Jews a thorough analysis of the economic aspects of the Jewish character, and the impossibility of the Palestinians to take advantage of their economic enterprise , the existence of a shortage of agricultural land needed by the country’s population now and in the future, risk control of the Jews on the fertile land, the displacement of populations, the deprivation of the Palestinians to benefit from them, decline in agricultural and animal income, deterioration of Trade and Industry , spread of unemployment and poverty, lack of security , need for a new security provisions, require an increase in taxes imposed on the Palestinians , And thus poor economic conditions that led to their inability to pay their debts to the government, and their sale of the remainder of the land with their hands to foreigners. en_US
