dc.description.abstract The study addresses the phenomenon of mythology based on Mohammed Bin Al Mon'am Al Hemyari's book Al Rawdh al Me'taar fe Khabar Al'aqtaar. In this study, I discuss the glossary and linguistic conceptions of the term and show how Qur'anic verses attach new shades of meaning to it. In addition, I explore how Arab mythologies in the East and Andalusia influenced each other. The main features of mythology my study identifies are: social and religious mythologies, mythology of the sacredness of cities, economic and political mythologies. en_US
