Between the second and the thirteenth Hijri century some scholars dedicated themselves to the study of Arabic syntactical poems. They come out with a conclusion that it was a part of the syntactical history regardless time and place. But I have found that their conclusion was not absolutely right particularly the section related to Oman. Therefore, this paper aims for a thorough historical and critical study the syntactical poems in all their forms, the Arabic ones in general and the Omanis in particular including the very special Al – Zamillyyah Al- Kharousiyyah. The survival of the syntactical poems as an art proves its strong presence in the history of the Arabic syntax and, also, the creativity of its scholars |
