Psychological Stress and its Relation to Psychological Health among Married Female Students in Irbid National University

dc.description.abstract The study aimed at exploring the level of Psychological Stress and Psychological Health and the relationship between them among married female students in Ibid National University in via of the following variables: (Study year, Accumulated average and having children or not(. It also aimed at recognizing the commonest domains of stress among the participants of the study. The study sample consisted of )120( married female students in Irbid National University. The researcher utilized two scales: The Psychological Stress scale developed by the researcher, and the Psychological Health scale developed by )Alshrefeen & Alshrefeer, 2014(. The study results showed that the level of Psychological Stress was high and the level of Psychological health was low, and there was a negative correlative relationship between Psychological Stress and Psychological Health among the married female students. The results also showed that the family stress domain was the highest mean )3.92(, followed by study stress domain )3.79(, economic stress domain )3.58(, social stress domain )3.43(, health stress domain )3.38( respectively, and the mean of the total scale was )3.64(. Moreover, the findings stated that there were differences in the levels of Psychological Stress on the folowing variables: )Study year, Accumulated average, and Having children or not(, in favor of )First year, less than )68( accomulated average, and having children( respectively. Lastly, the results showed that there were differences in the levels of Psychological Health on the folowing variables: )Study year, Accumulated average, and Having childrens or not(, in favor of )Fourth year, More than )76( accomulated average, and not having children( respectively. en_US
