Physically Handicapped Individuals’ Problems in Irbid Governorate, Jordan :An Analytical Study

dc.description.abstract The purpose of this study was to investigate the physically handicapped individual’s problems in light of some variables in Irbid governorate, and to explore the relationship between these problems and gender, marital status, work, education level, and place of residence. To achieve this, a questionnaire, which demonstrated adequate reliability and validity, was developed for this purpose. A sample of 180 physically handicapped individuals completed the questionnaire. The results revealed that the degree of physically handicapped individuals problems were often. It was also revealed that there were statistically significant differences of physically handicapped individuals due to marital status in favor of married individuals, work in favor of working individuals, and the level of education in favor of B.A. holders. Moreover, the study revealed that there were non-significant differences of physically handicapped individuals due to gender and the place of residence. In light of the study results, some recommendations were suggested. en_US
