dc.description.abstract The goal of this research is to get familiarized with the current situation of the application of the Abha public schools for girls from the perspective of the schools’ principals through answering the following questions: 1-How applicable and feasible is the ME at Abha public schools for girls from the perspective of the schools’ principals? 2-Are there any differences of statistical significance in relation to the principals’ responses regarding the feasible degree of the ME application, ascribed to the variables of the qualification, years of experience and the educational stage in question? 3- What are the proposals that help activate ME application in schools? The researcher used the descriptive approach, an appropriate approach to answer the questions of this study. She designed a 43-section questionnaire, covering three criteria, namely; criterion of basic changes, criterion of radical re-design and the criterion of focusing on the major processes. The subjects of the study included all the principals of Abha’s public schools. The number of the principals were 116, according to the statistics of the Directorate of Education, Abha for the academic year 1432-1433 AH. Results show that the degree of applying the ME by the principals of Abha public schools for girls ranged between high and medium at all levels of study. In addition, the results show there are statistically significant differences at the statistical significance level among (≤0.05) the averages of the assessment of the sample subjects on the basis of the degree of applying the ME at public schools in general. Such statistically significant differences are attributed to the variable of major, in favour of those specialized in Natural Science. en_US
