dc.description.abstract This study aimed at investigating the attitudes and practices of the first cycle of basic education (science and math domain) female teachers of conflict resolution strategies. The sample consisted of )208( female teachers selected from three educational regions in Oman. To achieve the study aims, two instruments were used, attitudes towards conflict resolution methods and educational scene test. The validity of both instruments was conducted through a panel of judges, where the reliability was measured by internal consistency using Cronbach's Alpha method. The value of Alfa for attitudes was )0.77( and for educational incident test was )0.72(. The results revealed that female teachers, in general, have positive attitudes towards conflict resolution methods. In addition, the results showed that there is no significant difference in the female teachers' attitudes towards conflict resolution methods according to their teaching experiences, location of the school and if the teacher has kids at house or not. The results showed that the competitive and collaborating methods of conflict resolution strategies are commonly used by teachers to manage the conflict between students. A number of recommendations and suggestions were proposed in the light of the results, such as: giving more training to teachers in how to deal with students' conflict resolution and conducting more studies. en_US
