dc.description.abstract The present study aimed at identifying the nature of teacher-principal personal relationship and the levels of job-satisfaction of high school teachers in the Sultanate of Oman and Jordan. It also investigated the relationship between job satisfaction and personal relationship, and factors associated with them. Teachers were submitted to two scales: Teachers-Principals’ Personal relationships and Teachers’ Job-Satisfaction. Results showed an intermediate level of personal relationship among Omani and Jordanian teachers with statistical differences in favor of Jordanian teachers. The Omanis showed high levels of job-satisfaction while the Jordanians showed an intermediate level with statistically significant differences in favor of the Omani teachers. The results showed no effects of personal relationship between teachers and principals on teachers’ job-satisfaction. Also, the results showed that the Omani teachers’ major, gender, and experience predicted the levels of teacher-principals personal relationship and job-satisfaction, and teachers’ major, experience, and the qualification degrees predicted the levels of teacher-principals’ personal relationship and job-satisfaction among the Jordanian teachers. en_US
