dc.description.abstract This study aims at knowing and understanding the relation that exits between practicing of group and individual activities and human development in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The study was conducted on three groups. The first group was from those who are practicing the group sport activities (football, basketball, volleyball) with an average of 20 practitioners for each activity. The second group was from those who are practicing an individual sport activity (gymnasium, swimming, or athletics) with an average of 20 practitioners for each activity. The third group was of those students who are not practicing sport and that their numbers were 60 individuals. The grand total of the sample amounted to 180 individuals. The human development was measured using Friborge’s personality caliber, with all the dimensions thereof, with respect to the three groups. The most important findings of the research were: - The existence of statistically significant differences between the group of unpractitioners and the two groups of practitioners who practiced group sport activities and individual sport activities. Such a significant difference was found to be in favor of practitioners in some of the dimensions of Friborge’s personality caliber or scale. - The existence of statistically significant difference between a set of the group sport activities and that of individual sport activities. Such a difference was found to be in favor of the group sport activity in some of the dimensions of Friborge’s personality calibre. en_US
