The Influence of TV Programs on Male and Female Students at the Intermediate and Secondary Stages in the State of Kuwait: An Explorotory Study

Abstract

This study seeks to survey the opinion of male and female students at the intermediate and secondary stages in the State of Kuwait about the various programs presented by satellite TV stations particularly those programs that can enrich them culturally and enlighten them about the problems of the society to which they belong. The importance of this study lies in the fact that it stands to provide a tremendous three-dimensional policy: the first concerns the study community, the second concerns the educationalists, and the third is of particular interest to those concerned with information matters so that they pay attention to TV and seek to benefit from its programmers, because TV as an educational and information medium is of impact on both curricula and students.
