dc.description.abstract |
The research aims to find out the role of the heads of academic departments at the University of Hail in facing the future challenges from the perspectives of academic leaders. The researcher used the descriptive approach in designing the research tool through the use of a questionnaire. The validity and reliability were checked for 28 items of the questionnaire which were distributed to a sample of 156 academic leaders. The results showed that the role of the academic leaders was high, and that there were statistical differences related to the variable of gender in the role of the heads of departments in facing the challenges related to the department employees and in the development of the future visions of academic department, as results showed that statistical differences were in favour of the male academic leaders. Whereas no statistical differences were attributed to the job rank, some statistical differences were attributed to each scale of the study tool related to the academic rank. |
