dc.description.abstract Russia as a great state was a major player in the relationships between Mohammed Ali Pasha the curator (Wali) of Egypt and the Ottoman State during his rebellion, Russia has important and historical interests and ambitions in the Ottoman State, Rebellion of Mohammed Ali interposed against these interests and ambitions, therefore, at the end, Russia has allied with Britain in an event that haven’t repeated much in the history of relationships between the two states, the matter that witnessed a big diplomatic activity and exchange of messages between the ambassadors of Britain in St-Petersburg and the Foreign Office about the attitude of Russia toward this crisis, and what the matte requested of the necessity to coordinate the attitudes between the later, Britain, the Ottoman State and the rest of the other European powers in order to support the Ottoman State against Mohammed Ali and France which sustained him. Russia achieved its targets and in cooperation with Britain and the rest of European Powers could destroy the hopes and ambitions of Mohammed Ali and return him to Egypt and that means the destruction of hopes and ambitions of France. en_US
