Abstract:
The study aimed at identify of the level of emotional self-efficacy and its
relation to the level of stress management among a sample of married couples
in the city of Irbid in the light of some variables. The sample of the study
consisted of )264( husbands and wives. Two scales were used, the emotional
self-efficacy scale by (Qualter et al., 2015), and the stress management scale
by the researchers. The results showed that the sample had a high level of
emotional self-efficacy and stress management, and that there were statistically
significant differences in the level of emotional self-efficacy and stress
management due to the gender variable in favor of males. The results showed
that there were statistically significant differences in the level of emotional
self-efficacy and stress management. The duration of marriage was in favor of
the duration of marriage )10 years and over(.
