(2022-12-01) Aldayri, Huda M.; Al-Rawahi, Ammar S.; Ambusaidi, Abdullah K.; Al-Hasani, Abeer M.; Ministry of Education Sultanate of Oman; Emerging Technologies Corporation Sultanate of Oman; Ministry of Education Sultanate of Oman; Ministry of Education Sultanate of Oman; Oman; Oman; Oman; Oman
This study aims to explore the attitudes of basic education students in the Sultanate of Oman towards space science and technology and the role of the teachers in promoting these attitudes. The study used a descriptive approach, via a questionnaire that consisted of )33( items divided into four main domains. The reliability of the questionnaire was calculated using two methods: internal consistency, using Alpha Cronbach's coefficient (0.983), and half-split )0.921(. The study was applied to a sample of )1242( students and )12( teachers. The results concluded that the attitudes of basic education students in the Sultanate of Oman towards space science and technology ranged between neutral and positive. The results also showed that there was a statistically significant difference in the attitudes of basic education students based on the gender variable )male, female( in all domains in favor of females. The study also revealed some difficulties in teaching space science and the appropriate initiatives to enhance it among students, for instance, using technological applications and involving families in space science awareness. The study recommended integrating topics related to space science in curricula and providing supportive technologies for education.

The effect of A Constructive Model in Teaching Fractions on Developing Pedagogical Knowledge of Teachers Students and Their Attitudes towards Mathematics
(2021-03-01) AlGwairy, Khaled M.; Curricula for teaching mathematics Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan; Jordon
The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of a constructive model in teaching fractions on developing pedagogical knowledge of students teachers and their attitudes towards mathematics. In order to fulfill the study's goal, instruments such as a pedagogical knowledge test and a trends scale were created. The validity and the credibility of the instruments were confirmed. The study sample was intentionally chosen. They were divided into two groups: the first was experimental group )21( that used a constructive model and the second was a control group )20( who studied using the classical method. The pedagogical knowledge test was conducted on both groups before starting the study application to confirm the equivalence between the groups. The same test was conducted after the course of the study. The study showed statistically differences between the means of the grades of the experimental group which used constructive model and the means of student’s grades of the control group for the experimental group. The results of the research showed students positive attitudes towards using constructive model. In light of these results, the researcher recommended using constructive model in teaching fractions, because it has a positive effect, developing pedagogical knowledge and reinforcing their attitudes towards mathematics.

The study sample was intentionally chosen. They were divided into two groups: the first was an experimental group (31) using the Mobile Phone and the second was a control group )25( who studied the same material using the traditional method. The achievement test was conducted on both groups before starting the study application to confirm the equivalence between the groups. The same test was conducted after the course of the study to measure the effectiveness of the proposed method. The study showed statistically significant differences between the means of the students’ grades in the experimental group who used Mobile Phone and the means of students’ grades of the control group in favor of the experimental group. The results of the research also showed positive attitudes on the part of the students towards using Mobile Phone in their learning. In light of these results, the researcher recommended using mobile phone in teaching mathematical concepts, because it has a positive effect in increasing achievement, and reinforcing students’ attitudes towards it.

      (University of Bahrain, 2018-03-01) Al-Omari, Omar H.
The current research aimed to identify the effect of social media tools in developing the skills of producing learning software among students of the Educational Diploma program at Taibah University and the attitudes towards it. The quasi-experimental method has been used. The sample of the study consisted of 89 female students from the Faculty of Education at the University of Taibah of the academic year 1436/1437, corresponding to 2015/2016 where they were selected purposefully. They were randomly divided into two groups: experimental group which consisted of )48( Students, who learned a production unit of educational software skills through social media tools, and control group which consisted of )41( students, who learned the same unit in the normal way. The measuring tools used in the study consisted of a note-card and a scale for measuring the direction of attitudes. The results of the study showed that there were statistically significant differences between the average performance of the study sample in the two groups and in favor of the experimental group. Also there were statistical significant differences on a note-card experiment, before and after the experiment. And the attitudes of the students of the experimental group were highly significant. The study recommended the need for awareness of the need for social media tools' services and their use in the educational process.

The Impact of Teaching by Using Interactive Mobile Applications on the Attitudes of Students, Faculty of Education, Hodeida University, towards the Technology of Education and its Applications
      (University of Bahrain, 2018-03-01) Al-Abdli, Hamood A.
The research aimed to identify the impact of the use of certain Interactive mobile applications in teaching, on the attitudes of students of scientific departments, Faculty of Education, Hodeida University, towards education technology and its applications. To achieve the objectives of the research, a measure of attitudes towards education technology and its applications was built. The measure of attitudes consisted of three axes: the attitudes toward educational technology, the attitudes toward educational technology course and the attitudes toward mobile applications. Its validity and reliability were calculated. In addition, a range of mobile applications, Telegram, YouTube and Google Chrome were also identified in order to be used in the interaction as intermediaries for teaching the scientific material. A measure of attitudes was applied before the experiment on the research sample totaling 116 students from the second level of departments of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. After that, the experimental treatment material, which used some mobile applications was applied. Then a measure of attitudes was applied after the experiment. By measuring the differences between pre application results and post using t-test, and calculating the effect size, it was found that the value of 2 equaled to 0.95, 0.94, 0.96 for the three axes respectively which were values that indicated a significant impact on the development of attitudes towards education technology and its applications of using mobile applications in teaching. Depending on the results, some of the recommendations were: the establishment of seminars and workshops dealing with mobile applications and their role in the educational process in the university, designing and producing training programs through multimedia that work in mobile devices environments to train the teachers of faculty of Education to integrate mobile applications in the teaching.
