dc.description.abstract This study examines selected physical fitness and anthropometric perimeters of Karate players. The sample consisted of (35) male Karate Jordanian players aged between (18-22) years divided into seven different weights, who held the rank of at least the first degree of black belt. The data gathered from the sample included the following physical fitness parameters: Flexibility, muscles strength; accuracy, balance, speed, muscular speed, muscular strength; and the following anthropometric measurements: Weight, height, and length of (hand, forearm, humerus, foot, leg, and thigh). One way analyses of variance (ANOVA) with least significant differences (LSD) were used to examine the hypothesis of the study and showed significant differences in both physical fitness and anthropometric measurements between the groups of different weights. A high correlation between the selected anthropometric and physical fitness perimeters was also found. en_US
