dc.description.abstract |
This study aimed to identify the degree of importance degree of: university environment, policies and management as causes of violence from students’ point of in Jordanian universities. A special questionnaire was prepared and applied on a random sample of 2100 attendants for the academic year 2007- 2008 in all Jordanian universities .Statistical analysis results were represented below: 1. The most causes of student’s violence degree were: Absence equality in applying university laws and rules, university’s acceptance policy that restricts student’s academic field and, lack of proper interaction with the deanship councilors. 2. The results varied depending on the type of the university (Public/ Private), and the student’s awareness of punishment rules, and no variations depending on the location of the university were extant. |
