Abstract:
The present study aimed at identifying and investigating the level of availability of university teacher’ personal characteristics of staff members at the College of Education, Jazan University, K.S.A, as was assessed by the university students who were studying and taking education courses or classes. It also aimed at identifying the significant statistical and indicative differences among the above-mentioned students’ grades, in accordance with their academic specialties, academic levels and General Points Average. To achieve such objectives, a questionnaire has been designed and developed and consisted of (48) items’, covering the qualities and special attributes which shape university teacher’s personal characteristics. The study sample was applied to the sample of about (358) students. The results of the study indicated and revealed that, about (30) traits and prerogatives of personal characteristics were available in staff members in a higher level. However, about (18) traits and prerogatives of personal characteristics were available in an average level. The study also revealed that, there were significant statistical differences, which were due to academic specialty and attributed to the advantage of literary specialties. The academic levels were attributed to the advantages of the 4th year university students. The results did not indicate any statistical and indicative differences that were due to General Points Average.
