This study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of multiple intelligence based strategies in improving academic achievement and developing creative thinking skills compared with traditional teaching strategy for fifth-grade students taking Islamic Feqah. The researcher used quasi-experimental method. The study sample was (78) students of the fifth-grade students in Islamic Feqah class at Safoot Primary School for Girls in Jordan. By random selection, the sample was split into two groups; one experimental group of (40) students and; the other a control group of (38) students. Study results indicated the existence of statistically significant differences for the experimental group on achievement tests and skills of fluency and flexibility on creative thinking. However, there were no significant statistical differences between the two groups on skills of authenticity. |
