Abstract:
The drinking water distribution system is high budget asset and also shows impacts on the health and living of the people. Every Water supply system face the problem of Leakage, Low pressure, and head loss in its lifetime. Huge work has been done in past to solve the problem using technology still scope is there because of technological advancement. This pilot study works for the identification of a single leak event. Arduino Uno, flow sensor, PLX-DAQ were used for the collection of flow data from upstream and downstream. For analysis, Population variance method is used with a rule-based classifier to identify leakage on the pipe. The proposed
system is observed to be low cost, and portable.
