dc.description.abstract |
This study aimed to develop a proposed model to design an educational software
based on a principle of an effective educational design to develop distinguishing
skills of numbers from 5 to 10 among educable intellectually disabled. In order to
achieve this purpose, the researcher used a Systems development method, descriptive
survey approach, and a questionnaire to collect data. The random sample consisted
of 15 female special needs teachers who have an experience in teaching Educable
Intellectually Disabled in Riyadh.The researcher contacted them and sent the software
and the electronic questionnaire. The results revealed that the participants extremely
agreed on the proposed design for educational software to develop numeracy skills
among educable intellectually disabled based on ASSURE model. The effectiveness
of software to achieve the educational content goals had come, and second, the
compatibility of software with target group characteristics. This is followedby the
compatibility of software with the educational design principles. The results showed
that all the main points got "extremely agreed." |
