Abstract:
This study aimed at identifying the degree of practicing the management of the educational activities programs by the public school principals in Al-Mafraq Educational Directorate and the effect of sex and scientific qualifications variables. The population of the study consisted of all the public school principals in Al-Mafraq Educational Directorate (N = 132). The sample of the study was chosen randomly and consisted of 67 school principals. For data collection a questionnaire was developed after validity and reliability were checked. The proper statistical methods and tools used were the average, standard deviation and analysis of variance to identify the effect of sex and scientific variables. The results of the study revealed that the organization domain ranked first; the executive and follow up domain ranked second; the planning domain ranked third, and the evaluation domain ranked fourth. The study revealed no significant differences were found due to sex and scientific variables. The researchers recommended that similar studies to be conducted to identify the effect of experience, the type of school (private or public), the level of the school (basic or secondary), and the type of the school program (academic or vocational).
