The present study aims to improve the performance of the National Center for Measurement and Evaluation from the viewpoint of the beneficiaries. To achieve this, the researchers designed a questionnaire that includes a number of themes, applied to a random sample of students benefiting from the services of the center. The study found a number of results including the following: the majority of the study sample indicated that the achievement and performance tests did not achieve justice and transparency ; a high proportion between (90.1% -91.1%). The study sample (82.8%) pointed out that the performance test was satisfactory and that a large proportion of the study sample found help from their teachers or colleagues or attend lectures by the National Center for Measurement and Evaluation by between (96.1-96.6%). A proportion of (93.6%) said they used the Internet in applying to the tests of the National Center for Measurement and Evaluation. Around (89.2%) of the study sample stated that they communicated in person with the National Center for Measurement and Evaluation, and highlights . The (P) value indicates that there are no statistically significant differences between higher education objectives in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia that could be attributed to the specialized major variable. A reasonable rate of the sample believes that that there is a need for training on the performance of each of the achievement and aptitude tests. In addition, they pointed out for the need to post models of these tests on the sites for training for free. Views of (85.2%) of the sample of the study pointed to the importance of cooperation between the Ministry of Education and the Center for Measurement and Evaluation in the field of qualifying students for the tests . In addition there is a need to diversify methods of aptitude tests and achievement( between (82.3-83.7%) of the study sample) and reduce the fees collected for each test and the provision of books and pamphlets to prepare for the tests of the National Center for Assessment. The study proposed mechanisms to improve the performance of the National Center for Measurement and Evaluation from the viewpoint of the fourth year students of the Faculty of Science - educational path in order to contribute to the improvement of the quality of inputs and activate the university academic programs and improve outcomes. |
