International Journal of Business and Statistical Analysis (IJBSA) is published Half-Yearly. It publishes research and expository material about new developments in statistics and their applications in economics, management, marketing, finance and banking. The scope includes, but is not limited to the following topics:

    International Journal of Business and Statistical Analysis considers all manuscripts on the strict condition that they have been submitted only to International Journal of Business and Statistical Analysis, that they have not been published already, nor are they under consideration for publication or in press elsewhere.

    Contributions to International Journal of Business and Statistical Analysis must report original research and will be subjected to review by referees at the discretion of the Editorial Board. By submitting to the Journal you are agreeing to any checks your manuscript may undergo during the peer review process. Note that the submitted papers are accepted only in English.

    It is a condition of publication that authors assign copyright SPC copyright.pdf ​ or license the publication rights in their articles. This enables us to ensure full copyright protection and to disseminate the article, and of course the Journal, to the widest possible readership in print and electronic formats as appropriate.

    Manuscripts should follow this order IJBSA template.docx :
  • Title Page;
  • Abstract;
  • Keywords;
  • Introduction;
  • Materials and Methods;
  • Results; Discussion;
  • Acknowledgements (if necessary);
  • References.


  • When the results and discussion sections are combined, then a conclusions section should be added.

    The ARTICLE TITLE should contain a concise and informative title not exceeding 15 words.

  • Abstract. The Abstract (in English) should not exceed 150 words. In the case of short communications, abstracts should not contain more than 100 words. The Abstract should be informative as to why and how the study was conducted, and what the results and conclusions were.
  • Keywords. A maximum of 5 key words must be given at the end of the Abstract, allowing a two-lines space.
  • Authors should suggest at least 2 potential referees with the appropriate technical expertise, although the Editor will not necessarily approach them. Their e-mail addresses must be provided as fully as possible.

  • ​​Most people are invited by the Editor of a journal to conduct a review. An Editor may approach you because you are a specialist in a certain field or research topic. You are notified by e-mail when an Editor invites you to review a submission for a journal. Once you have agreed to review, an email with further instructions will be sent to you. These emails contain the journal title as well as all other information required for reviewed. ​​
