dc.description.abstract The study presents a future vision for educational needs at secondary stage in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia using Time Series Analysis. The study aimed to analyse the reality of the past fifteen years and to link the past with the present to estimate the future educational needs for the secondary stage. The results of time series analysis showed continued growth in education over the ten prediction years (till the year 2020). As for boys education, it was expected for schools to be increased by 43%, for students to be increased by 45%, for teachers to be increased by 57%, for classes to be increased by 266% and the increase of total cost by about 47%. As for girls education, it is expected that the schools to be increased by 51%, for students to be increased by 52%, female teachers to be increased by 81%, for classes to be increased by 305% and the total cost to be increased by 41%. Many recommendations have been concluded from this study which are the needs to design quantity models to estimate the educational needs at all stages so that there is balance between the growth rates of all variables (teachers, students,….), and to expand community participation in education funding in order to improve the educational environment to achieve biggest benefit at the lowest costs. en_US
