dc.description.abstract Here we present some mathematical and computational tools for the numerical analysis of SQUID rings. Much of this text is taken from my own thesis based on work done by many others and as such this does not comprise original research (although this collated form of the information has not, to the best of our knowledge, been published in this form elsewhere). Instead this paper is intended as a quick start guide for those interested in numerical modelling of SQUID ring based systems en_US
