This study which includes a preface, and four main topics aims at pointing out beauty of the poetic language in this collection. Topic one highlights the introductory part comprising the title and the preface. The second topic shows how the poetic language touches the prose without avoiding the rhyme and the meter. The third topic deals with Mahmoud Darwish’s poetic vision and the changes in his latest collections. This topic also shows how resistance in the early poems is replaced with human attitude and beauty. The fourth topic deals with the structure of this collection ”Like the Almond Flowers or Farther“ and the play of pronouns in it. The study also attempts to show in brief some of the stylistic use of repetition and rhyme. The study concludes that this collection of poetry with all its beauty in form and content could be considered an adventure and a clear development in Mahmoud Darwish’s poetic experience. |
