The question of value in «Jahlyah» (Ignorance) By Layla Aljohani

Abstract

Women suffered from treated as object since Ignorance era. While she was inherited and buried in the soil, man involved in the war for her and she encouraged him to fight. However, she gains a position as cultural sign refers to the civilization and modernity of people as same as ignorance and backward. Through writing, women try to reveal the veil and break the blocus to speak out and convey her own prospective about life around her using the fictions as their own world where they create characters, space and meaning as well. This novel implies many elements to impose this scene as another prospective of life.
