Abstract:
This study deals with the critic , and metric discourse of Nazique Al- Malaika (1923- 2007)in her main two books “ Issues of Contemporary Poetry “ and Psychology of Poetry and Other Essays “. The main thoughts of this research deals with her point of view about Arabic language mainly it’s richness in words , meaning , styles ,and so on .In the modern Arabic poetic dictation , specially free verse , there are some faults , and the critics must correct them . In metric language there are many, so she mansions them . the research deals with these issues and explain what is correct and what is incorrect, what is new and what is tradition
