Abstract:
This study attempts to present a new view of the image of women in the writings of outcast pre-Islamic poet, proceeding from cultural criticism of the time which examines the textual structure and their inherent intellectual, ideological, and historical references. The study falls in two parts: First; theoretical, and it studies the artistic image in the light of cultural criticism. This image follows an aesthetic structure with an inherent cultural patterns. Second; procedural, and it deals with a new image of women in the outcast text that varies from the study of critics who have dealt with this subject. A new perception has been verified through an indepth reading of the following: - The image of blaming women. - The image of the departing women. - The image of the working women.
