The Legal System of Protection Children under the International Treaties & Jordanian Legislations An Applied and Comparative Study

Abstract

the present study aims to clear the bases and rules of the legal protection for children under the different laws in Jordan in harmony with international treaties, this study also tries to define the meaning of a chilled from different language, conceptual and legal aspects. At the same time, the current study will highlight the attitude of Jordanian legislator in regard to juvenile delinquency and the meaning of juvenile, and the legal age divisions of children. Moreover, this study tries to construe the legal frame of both criminal and legal protection of children under different laws in Jordan, such as the constitution of Jordan, and punishment, Labor, educational laws of Jordan. Last but not least, the present study will conclude to discover the major changes in modern criminal policies, which deal with the Phenomena of juvenile delinquency, as well as the aptitude of the Jordanian legislator in dealing with the cases of juvenile delinquency, and the criminal liability of children in regarding crimes committed by them.
