dc.description.abstract This study aimed at revealing the level of Job Satisfaction among male and female teachers who are working in the Ministry of Education in Jordan, its relation with some variables and its ability to predict the level of job satisfaction. To achieve the aim of the study Abu hassouneh, 2013 scale of the job satisfaction was implemented on a sample of (1000) male and female Teachers. They were chosen with a tow stage cluster random sample, from the north, center, and the south of the Kingdom during the second semester of the academic year 2012\2013. The results indicated that the level of job satisfaction was high among all members of the variables of the study, and the higher mean was the scientific qualification variable specifically for the holders of doctoral degree, and the lower mean was the specialization variable specifically scientific specialization. The results of the study showed that the variable of specialization was the only variable which affected in term of statistical significance on job satisfaction. The results also indicated that the variables (Years of experience and Specialization) had a predictive ability on the level of the job satisfaction among male and female teachers in Jordan. en_US
