Abstract:
The study aimed to investigate the effect of problem based –learning strategy in constructing proofs of solid geometry problems and attitudes toward math among female tenth Graders in Gaza Governorates. The study sample consisted of two groups: one as-an experimental and the other as a control group, selected from khawla bent Al -Azwar secondary school. The researcher constructed and used two tools: one of them was a solid geometry test whereas the other was an attitude toward math scale. The study concluded that there were statistically significant differences between the experimental and control group in the post test of solid geometry, and the post administration of the attitude scale in favor of the experimental group. Besides, there was a statistically significant relationship between the experimental group results on the post test of solid geometry and the post administration of the attitude toward math scale.
