dc.description.abstract This study aimed to investigate the effect of using Interactive whiteboard (IWB) in chemistry teaching on the immediate & delayed acheivement of 12th grade students’ and their attitudes towards it. A sample of (39) male students was randomly chosen from Al Aziziyah School in Al Khobar city, Saudia Arabia, year 2013-2014, and were distributed randomly to two groups. The researchers used quasi-experimental design with two groups, the control group learned by the traditional strategy, and the experimental one learned by using IWB. To achieve the purpose of this study, an achievement exam and attitudes questionnaire were developed. The results of the study show high positive effect of using IWB in the students’ immediate achievements and level of retention (delayed achievements), and a desire to accept using IWB in learning because of high motiviation, but with barriers that limit its effectivenes and lower learning level. The study recommends using IWB in teaching chemestery in active student’s centered manner. en_US
