Abstract:
This study aimed at investigating the level of counseling needs in the light of achievement and grade variables among the Second Cycle and Post- Basic Education Students. To achieve that, a randomized sample was selected consists of (5491) students, from the entire Sultanate of Oman eleven Governorates. Student counseling scale was applied on the study sample. Results show that the counseling needs came in the high-level range; also, the results show significant differences in the means of counseling needs. Results also show significant differences in the means of grades in favor of seventh, ninth and twelfth and in favor of students who average more than 80. Discussion of results and recommendations were made.
