Psychological Counseling between Reality and Ambition (Psychological Counseling in the Second College of Education, Al Swaida)

dc.description.abstract The present study aimed to identify the views of students trained, counselors and opinions and attitudes, and the extent of their satisfaction with the guide practical training in psychological counseling. Inaddition, it aims to identify the stages and the difficulties they face during the application directory, and the amendments thereto until it reached its current form. To achieve this, the researcher designed a questionnaire to measure students’ attitudes and opinions about the trainees directory, and an interview with the semi-regulated student interns and counselors. The researcher also followed up on the students trained in their application of the guide through her frequent visits to some schools over the full academic year 2012/2013. Sample of trainees (55) male and female students of the fifth year, were given the Guidance Department and sample of counselors, the number of members (75) mentors and guide. Two samples were selected. The results showed confirm counselors psychologists and students, trainees in the Department guidance on the importance of all the functions of the weekly corse line contained in the manual and the 12 functions. Participants agreed that the Guide provides them with many benefits, the most important in the recognition of the field work for the Supreme Leader in the future, and connecting materials theory with practice. Answers ranged percentage of students trained psychologists and counselors are all satisfied with the evidence strongly between (85% - 97%), while some participants requested the addition of some activities to guide training. Based on the students’ answers on the questionnaire show that the directory is easy and possible application and a comprehensive guide covers most of the functions of the psychological. The difficulties they face while applying practical guide it in schools were few is possible to overcome. The researcher, according to this study reached to a set of conclusions most important: of which the need to enrich the students in the Department of Counseling withe with more skills and methods of guidance through the development of theoretical courses constantly, and access to training courses. en_US
