dc.description.abstract | This study aims at explaining the role of will in exemption from contractual liability in Jordanian legislation which considers exemption from contractual liability a deviation from the general principle of responsibility. In addition, Jordanian law does not provide a clear statement of exemption from contractual liability despite giving a number of its applications. This study focuses on clarifying the concept of the agreement on exemption from contractual liability, consequences of this agreement in terms of subject, the persons involved, the effect of invalidity of this agreement on the whole contract. A number of suggestions are made here in this paper. The study is divided into three sections: the nature of the role or will in exemption from contractual liability, contracts that may be affected by the will, and the consequences of exemption from contractual liability. | en_US |
