dc.description.abstract | This study aimed to identify the methods and goals of studying the imagination concept, its fields, and its types and factors in the Arabic studies,which studied this concept between 2004 and 2015. (32) studies were analysed in this study, (26) studies werer etrieved from Dar Almandhoma database and (6) studies done in the Arabian Gulf University Gifted Education section. The descriptive method according to content analysis style was usedto answer the study questions. The results showed that the experimental methods and the quasi were the most methods used in these studies. The majority of these studies considered scientific imagination as a type of the imagination concept. In addition, the written verbal tools andthe quantitativedata were the most used. Arabic studies focused on elementary and middle school. Also they focused on developing the imagination then on correlation and comparison. In addition, the results showed that the imagination concept was very divergent. It included (12) different factors in these studies. The study concluded with some recommendations like mentioning the specific mental abilities when studying imagination. Also developing new Arabic measures for imagination paying attention to interference with other psychological concepts. | en_US |
