dc.description.abstract | This study examines the use of the popular song in Modern Palestinian Poetry, explaining the reasons and the forms of communication. The poet uses the popular song in his poems as a part of the entity of his nation and its identity .He seeks to deepen the identity of his nation and to protect the national, cultural and civilizational heritage of his people. The popular song is considered as the emotional outlet for many psychological conditions such assorrow, joy, despair .... It also reveals the extent of the Palestinian people’s reaction to their heritage and nationality. The Palestinian poet has made the popular song an integral part of his poetic structure and brought it out in most cases from its inherited manifestations into new ones with human dimensions through which the Palestinian can have living dreams and aspirations and a way for interacting with the people. The poem with its effective energy and presence that has actively reflected the reality of life. | en_US |
