Abstract:
Video authentication increasingly important as the video has become easy to obtain and edit with the help of modern
technologies. Also, tamper localization is getting more difficult due to the great development of editing software. Signature-based
video authentication technologies rely on storing the video signature until the authentication is required. This is a drawback because
the signature is controlled by a single entity that could fail. Therefore, the centralized approach is extremely untrustworthy. To solve
such issues this paper proposes a signature-based video authentication method, which uses Blockchain technology to store the video
signature. In this method, the video signature is stored in a decentralized network. Thus, safety is greatly increased
