dc.description.abstract |
Steganography is the study of invisible communication, which typically focuses on methods of concealing the existence
of the communicated message. Steganography is now widely used as a means of protecting sensitive data. In addition, one of the
most common methods of information hiding is the Least Significant Bit (LSB) technique. This technique is extremely vulnerable to
statistical attacks which are still challenging. This article presents a new method by using Lorenz’s chaotic system to generate a series
of pseudo-random positions for embedding secret information within the cover image. Moreover, the Bloom filter is suggested to be
used to prevent repetition and storage in the same pixel as well as data loss. The similarity metric results show how powerful and
secure the proposed method is against both visual and analytical attacks, with a PSNR of 48.57% and a NPCR of 32.35%. |
