Abstract:
This study examined the legal regulation of artificial insemination technology in Bahraini
criminal legislation and some comparative criminal legislation by reviewing the controls
set by the legislation under study. The legislation is represented by a set of conditions and
prohibitions surrounding this technology in order to come out in a sound legal image.
The study also dealt with the criminal responsibility resulting from the violation of the
conditions of practicing the technique of artificial insemination and the criminal liability
resulting from committing the prohibitions of this technology.
This research is divided into three sections. The first section, discussed the concept of
artificial insemination technology and methods. The second section, dealt with the position of
the Bahraini criminal legislation and compared it to the technique of artificial insemination.
In the third section, looked into the controls and prohibitions of artificial insemination
and the effect of violating them, in addition, to a conclusion that included the results and
recommendations of this study.
