This paper attempts to analyze two important poetic texts. These are: ”Nap’ataZinzibar“ by Abdullah Al Kalili and ”Zanzibar“ by Hassan Al Qurashi. I have chosen these texts because of their importance in Omani’s minds. Pathos of Zanzibar played an important role in the culture but this area has not been fully researched. These two poets who came from different backgrounds analyzed the event of pathos of 􀀼􀁃􀁐􀁜􀁋􀁄􀁃􀁔􀀂􀁃􀁐􀁆􀀂􀁖􀁊􀁇􀁔􀁇􀁄􀁛􀀂􀁋􀁐􀁅􀁔􀁇􀁃􀁕􀁇􀁆􀀂􀁖􀁊􀁇􀀂􀁋􀁐􀆀􀁗􀁇􀁐􀁅􀁇􀀂􀁋􀁐􀀂􀁖􀁊􀁇􀀂􀀣􀁔􀁃􀁄􀁋􀁅􀀂􀁅􀁗􀁎􀁖􀁗􀁔􀁇􀀐 This study attempts to examine the moment when the two texts were written. The two texts achieved the sounds of the verses and have line-based structure according to the system of having them from the same source􀈆 which in our case is the pathos of Zanzibar. Rhythmic Structure in the Poetry of Idris Jamaah
(University of Bahrain, 2014) Abdel-Majeed, Mohammed Mahjoub Mohammed
This research examines the rhythmic structure in the poetry of Idris Jamaah and explores it ways of dealing with and adherence to its balancing rhymes. It concludes that he was - in most of his poetry – a traditional poet and that he paralleled modern poets systems on basing his poetry on (Al- Mutagareb and Al-mutdarek); and in changing between the absolute and partial rhythms in a poem, and poets of Abbasid and Andalusian period in the Roubayat and Muwashahat. Besides, he combined his internal music with the many elements of contrasting (horizontal and vertical), and repetition; however his poetry has not been without pitfalls.

Rhetorical Structure of Shawki Beze’a’s What the Man Who Did not Die in the last War Said
(University of Bahrain, 2014) Al-Lahham, Hussam Mustafa
Rhetorical structure is subsumed under the rubric of aesthetic communication due to its suggestive nature stemming from linguistics displacements which bestow upon the poetic message metalanguage, or what Abdulqahir Aljurjani calls ‘meanings of meaning’. It is a language characterized by ambiguity that incites and, stimulates the reader to wonder and generate meaning. Rhetorical structure has a salient role in the reader’s interaction with the poetic texts as studying rhetorical forms entalis a reading that discloses its aesthetic and technical potentialities in a total framework, showing its role and its ability to create the aesthetic. Based on the view derived from the response and interpretation theory, the present study seeks to analyze the rhetorical structures of the poem ‘What the Man Who Did Not Die in the last War Said’ by Shawqi Beze’a. which appeared in the beginning of his second volume of verse entitled ‘Departing to Tathrib’s Sun.

The Recalling of Characters In The Poetry of Ahmad Aladwani
(University of Bahrain, 2014) Alsowaifan, Sabah
The aim of this paper is to analyze the technique of recalling characters of Heritage which takes place in the textual interaction in Ahmad Ala’dwani’s poetry and to show how this technique enriches his poetical text. The research starts with a preface that talks about the mechanisms of the characters recall; these mechanisms are: the recall by name, role, and speech. It also focuses on studying and analyzing the modes of the recalled characters, showing their new poetical, artistic, and visionary contexts and patterns. The modes are divided into three types: religious, legendary, and literary characters. In addition, the religious characters are divided into three types: prophets, pious and discarded characters. The legendary characters are related to Sindbad, the most famous legendary character, whereas the literary characters are recalled by two ways: the recall by name, and by speech or what might be called the implying recall. The research shows the roles of the recalled characters in deepening the poet’s vision and giving the poetical text wide prospects for interpretation, contemporary dimensions, and indicative and rhetorical references. The poet creates out of these characters symbols, masks and mirrors that reflect his poetical and emotional experience, and enlightening tendency.

On The Stylistics of The Text A stylistic Reading of “Hawamish Yamania Ala Tagribat Ibn Soriq” By Abdulaziz Almagalih
(University of Bahrain, 2014) Albar, Abdullah Hussein
The aim of the present study is to reveal the stylistic characteristics that make a text different from other texts, even if the two texts belong to one author. That object is achieved by making use of the stylistic approach of the text as an analyzing tool of the text itself, without broaching genre stylistics, author stylistics, or stylistics of one poetic book. The study deals with one independent text (poem): Hawamish Yamaniah Ala Tagribat Ibn Soriq by: Abdulaziz Almagalih The poem is considered to be one of the most outstanding poems of Almagel,s poetry in its vision, coherence and cohesion. 􀀂􀀫􀁖􀀂􀁋􀁕􀀂􀁃􀁎􀁕􀁑􀀂􀁅􀁑􀁐􀁕􀁋􀁆􀁇􀁔􀁇􀁆􀀂􀁃􀁕􀀂􀁖􀁊􀁇􀀂􀅿􀁔􀁕􀁖􀀂􀁒􀁑􀁇􀁏􀀂􀁋􀁐􀀂􀁙􀁊􀁋􀁅􀁊􀀂􀁊􀁇􀀂􀁏􀁋􀁚􀁇􀁆􀀂􀁖􀁊􀁇􀀂􀁖􀁔􀁃􀁆􀁋􀁖􀁋􀁑􀁐􀁃􀁎􀀂􀁕􀁖􀁛􀁎􀁇􀀂􀁑􀁈􀀂􀀣􀁔􀁃􀁄􀁋􀁅􀀂 poetry and the new free verse form. In this poem contradictories come together to form one texture at all levels: the subjective and objective, the variations of musicality (rhythm), the syntaxic structures, the different rhetoric components of the text, and the interior and outsider factors that give this text its own stylistic print in terms of harmony of its different components. By this unity of the various factors of textual structuration the text produces its own poetics and achieves its poetic transcendence. The poem is dealt with as one self- 􀁕􀁗􀁈􀅿􀁅􀁋􀁇􀁐􀁖􀀂􀀂􀁕􀁖􀁔􀁗􀁅􀁖􀁗􀁔􀁇􀀎􀀂􀁃􀁐􀁆􀀂􀁃􀁕􀀂􀁃􀀂􀁒􀁔􀁑􀁆􀁗􀁅􀁖􀁋􀁑􀁐􀀂􀁑􀁈􀀂􀁖􀁊􀁇􀀂􀁕􀁋􀁉􀁐􀁋􀅿􀁅􀁃􀁐􀁖􀀂􀁒􀁔􀁃􀁅􀁖􀁋􀁅􀁇􀀂􀁑􀁈􀀂􀁖􀁊􀁇􀀂􀁎􀁃􀁐􀁉􀁗􀁃􀁉􀁇􀀂􀁋􀁐􀁕􀁋􀁆􀁇􀀂 the text itself. For that reason the chosen approach of the study is text stylistics and not genre stylistics or author stylistics. It is hoped this can help in revealing the stylistic characteristics of the text (the poem). 􀀶􀁊􀁇􀀂􀁕􀁖􀁗􀁆􀁛􀀂􀁃􀁐􀁃􀁎􀁛􀁜􀁇􀁕􀀂􀁖􀁊􀁇􀀂􀁖􀁇􀁚􀁖􀀂􀁃􀁖􀀂􀁋􀁖􀁕􀀂􀁕􀁗􀁔􀁈􀁃􀁅􀁇􀀂􀁃􀁐􀁆􀀂􀁆􀁇􀁇􀁒􀀂􀁕􀁖􀁔􀁗􀁅􀁖􀁗􀁔􀁇􀁕􀀎􀀂􀁋􀁖􀁕􀀂􀀂􀁕􀁋􀁉􀁐􀁋􀅿􀁅􀁃􀁐􀁖􀀂􀁒􀁔􀁑􀁆􀁗􀁅􀁖􀁋􀁘􀁋􀁖􀁛􀀎􀀂 its linguistic categories, and the presence of subject (the speaker in the text) and object (non- subjective aspects in the text). Finally, the study tackles the micro- structures of the outsider rhythm, and the poetics of rhetoric components of the text.

In this research, I will discuss the elements of metaphorical forming in (Night and Road) divan, by the Tunisian poet, (Al-Maidani) Ibin Saleh, for his rols in building the poetic image represented by simile, metaphor, as well as tools that form the focal point of metaphorical image of the poet like, landscape and the current reality, which includes 􀁅􀁊􀁃􀁐􀁉􀁇􀁕􀀂􀁃􀁐􀁆􀀂􀁋􀁐􀁅􀁋􀁆􀁇􀁐􀁖􀁕􀀂􀁖􀁊􀁃􀁖􀀂􀁊􀁃􀁘􀁇􀀂􀁃􀁈􀆀􀁋􀁅􀁖􀁇􀁆􀀂􀁖􀁊􀁇􀀂􀀣􀁔􀁃􀁄􀀂􀁕􀁋􀁖􀁗􀁃􀁖􀁋􀁑􀁐􀀐􀀂 The researcher has focused upon the image that has been formed of these elements, for which the psychological facts were a fruitful environment. Metaphor in Ibin Saleh’s has shown poert artistic creative elements that represent stylistic phenomenon with artistic and ideological dimensions. From vision and ideology side, metaphor has formed an artistic and integrated approach more than representing the physical side, through's poet's reliance on the personification and embodiment element.

    Intertextuality in Amal Donkol’s Peotry
(University of Bahrain, 2014) Shaker, Tahani Abdel Fattah; Autoom, Maha Mahmood
It is obvious that Amal Donkols’ poetry clearly depends on religious intertextuality, and those religious versions which he had used were taken from the holy Quran, the Bible and the ancient Egyptian religions. This paper aims at explaining the techniques of intertextual integration which Amal Donkol used in his poetry. Also, the paper shows his ability to reform the inspiration drawn from the absent versions in new images. This research is an analytical and applied study for models of the religious intertextuality in his poetry. This paper is based on recalling the religious intertextuality in Amal Donkols’ poetry and showing its role in forming the text's significance
