Abstract:
The study investigated levels of psychological and social adjustment among Syrian refugees primary graders at Al- Zaatary Camp (Jordan) in light of some variables. To achieve the aim of the study, a descriptive survey design was used as the a Psychological and Social Adjustment Scale was administrated to a sample of (382) male and female students selected using the random stratified sampling. Results of the study indicated moderate levels of psychological and social adjustment among Syrian refugees primary graders at Al- Zaatary Camp. Significant differences were found in levels of psychological and social adjustment among Syrian refugees primary graders due to gender, in favor of females, while no significant differences were found in levels of psychological and social adjustment among Syrian refugees primary graders due to period of stay at refugee camp, number of family members and the death of a family member.
