The Source of Psychological Anxiety at Handball Males and Females Players in Jordan

Abstract

This study aimed at recognizing the sources of psychological anxiety at handball players (male and female) in Jordan. The studying sample consisted of (90) players. The results showed that the umpire source became in the first as source of the anxiety sources, and the sport media sources become the last. Furthermore, the results came in favor of males in team administration and players sources, and in favor the females in practice and media sources. And with regard to age variable the results become in behalf of the age (20-25 years) in motivations source and in behalf of the age (26 and more) in the audience, media, players, and facilities sources. With regard to year experiences variable in the club the differences became in behalf of those who have an experience (6 years and more). With regard to level of education variable, the differences appeared in behalf of those who have a level of education (B.A) some sources. With regard to marital status variable, the results showed that there was no statistical difference. However, with regard to monthly income the results showed that there was differences on behalf of those who have monthly income about 400 dinars and more.
