dc.description.abstract |
The aim of this study was to explore the obstacles of using e-learning that the Hashemite University students perspectives; and determine the effects of faculty, gender, and experience in internet on the obstacles. The sample consisted of (600) bachelor’s degree students at the Hashemite University. The researchers developed a questionnaire consisting of (39) items, to answer the study questions. The appropriate statistical analyses were used. The findings of this study revealed that all questionnaire items constituted obstacles to e-learning. There were significant differences due to faculty on obstacles related to the university, academic and administrative, student and on the scale as a whole. While, there were non-statistically significant differences in the field of obstacles related to e-learning due to the faculty. Also, the results indicated that there were statistically significant differences on all fields and the scale as whole due to student’s gender; such differences were in favor of females. In addition, there were significant differences on the first and second fields and the scale as a whole due to internet experience; these differences were in favor of the students with short experience. Also, there were statistically significant differences among the students with short and middle experiences. These differences were in favor of the students with short experience in the third field and in the fourth field. |
