dc.description.abstract The aim of the present study is to identify the learning methods used by the first-stage university students, and to know as well the effect of the learning strategies designed by the chemistry laboratory group of “E.N.S.K Algeria”. A sample of (185) students of both sexes were randomly selected and the Schmeck’s (1983) Learning Measure Scale was distributed to the sample. As a result, this study revealed that: The students of both sexes were more alike than they differ on either their prerequisite or those newly experienced Learning methods. The differences between the students, means on both the pre-and the post learning methods were statistically significant. There were differences between the same group of students at the beginning of the academic year and at end on two of the four schmecks learning methods. en_US
