Self-Concept and its Relation to Demographic Variables of the Hearing Impaired Students in Special Education Centers in Jordan

dc.description.abstract The main purpose of the present study was to investigate the level of self-concept among hearing impaired students and its relation to some variables in Al-Balqa / Jordan. The sample of the study consisted of (131) hearing impaired students who were selected randomly. The investigator used self-concept scale for data collection. Analysis of data indicated that there were significant differences in relation to age variable. Also the results showed significant differences in self-concept in relation to the degree of hearing loss on the levels. On the other hand, the analysis of data did not show significant differences in relation to gender variable on the levels of self–concept. en_US
