dc.description.abstract |
This study aims at investigating the attitudes of youth center memberships towards practicing activities in Irbid. In addition, it aims to determine the differences in attitudes of members towards practicing activities according to gender, age and center classification. The instrument which used in this study is a questionnaire consisting of (29) items distrusted into five domains: the physical, cultural, social, scouting and voluntary activities. The subjects of the study consists of (n=193) male and female memberships of the youth center in Irbid. The results of study revealed that the attitudes of youth centers members towards practicing activities is positive in all the domains of the study to a high degree except in physical activities, which it is found in medium degree. The study shows that there is statistical differences according to gender and center classification. Nevertheless the result of the study shows no statistical differences due to age. The researchers recommended that more care and interest should be given to physical activities. |
