Abstract:
This study aimed at investigating the problems facing kindergartens in Jordan as perceived by the teaching staff in the sampled kindergartens. The Sample of this study consisted of (127) teachers who were working in (30) kindergartens in Irbid city. To fulfill the purpose of the study, the researcher develop a self-completion questionnaire. Results of this study showed that the most common problems for kindergarten teachers were: The low salaries, absence of classes for students with learning disabilities, the lack of libraries for children, in addition to that, the lack of educational counselors for children in the kindergartens. Results also revealed no statistically significant differences in teachers’ views concerning problems faced by kindergarten due teachers’ degrees, or years of experience in teaching.
