Abstract:
The aim of the present study was to evaluate the efficiency of the practical training programs for special education diploma students at numbers of Jordanian colleges from the participants and cooperative teachers’ point of view. To achieve the main aim of the study, the researcher used two tools, the first to the trainees, and the second for cooperative teachers, where (278) students participated and (35) teachers volunteered in this study. The statistical analysis showed that the practical training programs contributed drastically in increasing the general knowledge and special scientific knowledge in their field of specialty. Moreover, to be as a highly influential in foundation of social interaction, and enhancing the abilities of problem solving among trainees’ students However, the results showed that the clinical training for the participants helped in lowering the participants’ production capabilities through dividing their efforts between work and training. With regards to the cooperative teachers, the results showed that the cooperative teachers viewed the practical training as a mean that enhanced developing the teaching process and programs in special education field, as it shed light on participants capabilities, knowledge, backgrounds, and skills in their filed.
